Training Agenda

Duration: 1 Day (Approx. 6-7 hours)

Session 1: Introduction to POSH (1 hour)

Objective: Understand the importance of POSH, legal framework, and organizational impact.

  3. Legal Framework (15 minutes): Overview of The POSH Act, 2013 and role of ICC.

  1. Psychological and Emotional Impact (30 minutes): Consequences on mental health and work performance.
  2. Organizational Impact (30 minutes): Effect on culture, productivity, and legal liabilities.

Session 3: Prevention of Sexual Harassment (2 hours)

  1. Creating a Safe Workplace (45 minutes): Policies, procedures, and awareness initiatives.
  2. Role of Managers (45 minutes): Key responsibilities in addressing harassment.
  3. Training and Awareness Programs (30 minutes): Importance of regular training and engagement.

Session 4: Handling Complaints (1 hour)

  1. Complaints Mechanism (30 minutes): Filing, investigating, and resolving complaints.
  2. Role-Playing Exercise (30 minutes): Practice handling complaints with empathy and professionalism.

Session 5: Case Studies & Interactive Discussion (1 hour)

  1. Case Study Presentation (30 minutes): Real-life examples and lessons learned.
  2. Group Activity (30 minutes): Discuss solutions and create actionable plans.

Session 6: Action Plan and Closing (30 minutes)
